DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
Description is a written english text in which the writter describes an object. In this text, the object can be concrete or abstract object. It can be a person, or camping, it can be any topic.
Descriptive is a text containing two component, identification and descriptions by which a writter describes a person ,an animal, a tree,house,as his topic.
The identification is to identify the object to describe. The description describes parts, qualities, and caracteristics of the parts of the object.
• Text function
Describe a particular person, pleace or thing, and to give details information as clear as possible,about something. The aim of descriptive text is basically to give information. The social context of this text is to describe a specific thing, animal, or human being ( certain thing, our pets or someone we know well), it is different from report text which describes something in general ( for example a specific of animal species, an architect of certain era, and so on). We use the descriptive text to describe a particular person, place or thing. It focuses on specific participants. The description includes parts, qualities and characteristics
• Text stucture

 Identification : identifies phenomenon to be describes.
 Description : describes parts body, qualities,characteristics (adjective)
Interesting details are needed in this pharagraph the author chooses words that can describe sights, sound,textures, smells, felling and tastes. In other words, the author organizes the sentences so that the reader can be imagine the scene being described
• Gramatical aspect

1. Focus on specific participants.
2. Use of attributive(beautiful girl,handsome boy),and identifying proccess (sleep,run,eat,take a bath).
3. Frequent use of epithets and and classiffers in nominal groups.
4. Use of simple present tense.
5. Use third person ( she, he, it)
6. The point of view in this text (third person)
